Drummond Villa

Welcome to Drummond Villa, a delightful culinary gem nestled on Drummond St in the heart of London. This restaurant promises a feast for the senses with its vibrant flavors and warm hospitality. With a focus on traditional Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine, each dish is crafted with care, ensuring that both spice lovers and those who prefer milder options find something to savor.

Drummond Villa stands out not only for its impressive menu but also for its attentive staff, who are genuinely invested in your dining experience. For example, Mathew Pereira, a satisfied customer, praised the kind attention offered by Mr. Ahmed, who expertly guided him through the menu based on his spice tolerance. This level of personalized service makes every visit feel special.

As for the food, the offerings here are nothing short of exceptional. The Tandoori Mix Starter ($6.95) is a brilliant introduction, featuring an array of succulent lamb, grilled chicken, and sheek kebab, all expertly cooked in a traditional clay oven. For those seeking something unique, the Achari Salmon Tikka ($7.50) presents a delicate fillet of salmon gently spiced and grilled, served with a refreshing salad—truly a testament to the restaurant's flair for balancing flavors.

Moving to the main course, the Chicken Tikka Masala ($11.75), rich in creamy sauce and mild honey, is a classic favorite, while the Kala Bhuna, a traditional Bangladeshi dish, offers a trip to Chittagong with its robust fried meat and unique spice blend. This dish promises a flavor experience that will linger long after the meal is over.

Vegetarian options are equally enticing. Flavia Brezoianu relished the vegetarian fare, with dishes like Sag Paneer and Chana Masala receiving high praise. The Achar Baingan ($9.95), featuring baby aubergine with pickle spice, showcases the restaurant's dedication to offering rich and diverse flavors for all palates.

Additionally, the Set Lunch Menu provides an affordable yet delectable option, featuring meals like the Chicken Set Meal ($11.95) with a mix of samosas, bhuna, and naan—a perfect choice for a fulfilling midday escape.

With a friendly atmosphere amplified by the staff's hospitality, Drummond Villa is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. As Daniel N. Lang noted, the genuine care shown by the staff extends beyond the table, making each visitor feel valued. Whether you are indulging in their mouthwatering tandoori selections or enjoying a refreshing Coca-Cola Zero, you are sure to leave with a satisfied palate and a warm smile.

I went here with my work colleagues. They have a good selection of food for people who have less tolerance for spicy food. This is Mr. Ahmed who is a very genuine and kind person. As soon as he knew that I was from India he recommended the foods I will like in terms of spiciness. He was very frank to tell me what not to order as it might be sweet or less spicy for me. My top favorite was the tandoori paneer and the biryani. He was even kind enough to give us a staff discount. If you work near Euston Square or Euston this place is within walking distance. Do visit them.Vegetarian options: I'm not a fan of the vegetarian section but the tandoori paneer we ordered was top notch.

I was totally impressed by the care the staff offers to their customers. They treated me with much attention and care but I could also notice how good a large group of people was feeling thanks to the staff high level of hospitality. The vegetarian food that I had was very tasty and I totally enjoyed it.The reason I entered their place was actually to ask for their help to have my troller stored as my host was not responding my call. They did not even hesitate to accept to help me on this request without charging me for this or something. These are very good persons who happens they cook well too!!

Very friendly and helpful place. I asked them for help to find a restaurant that is run by Indians and they sent me to a restaurant across the street without hesitation. They really cared for me and my needs even if it meant no business for them. Highly recommended if you want to dine at a place where they actually care for you and not only your money
